China International Working Group (BPV III CIWG) held its second working meeting in Harbin in 2014. Qu Dazhuang, deputy general manager of National Nuclear Power Technology Corporation, Miao Lijie, deputy general manager of Harbin Power Group, and Zhang Qiang, chief representative of ASME Beijing representative office were invited to attend the meeting. The meeting was attended by 51 experts from domestic nuclear facility construction units. The meeting was chaired by Tang Weibao, Vice Chairman of BPV III CIWG and Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Nuclear Power Group, and was hosted by HEC HEC.
During the one-and-a-half-day meeting, the participating experts discussed 35 technical topics in materials, welding, mechanical analysis, process evaluation, non-destructive testing, etc. that occurred during the three generations of nuclear power construction collected by the CIWG secretary group during the intersessional period, focusing on the environment Hot and difficult issues such as influence on fatigue, the selection of parameters for expansion of pipes, the influence of weld microcracks on safety, and the selection of fatigue curves of martensitic steel materials. The meeting passed a vote and was prepared to submit 4 formal issues to the ASME Volume III Committee for consultation. After discussion, 11 issues were closed and 2 new task groups were formed.
At the same time, the meeting also discussed other members of the working group's membership management and scheduling, technical exchanges and other issues. Mr. Zhang Qiang, the chief representative of ASME Beijing Representative Office, revealed at the meeting that in view of Mr. Qu Dazhuang, the deputy general manager of the State Nuclear Power Technology Corporation, in promoting the promotion and application of the ASME code in the third generation of nuclear power construction and the establishment of the ASME China International Working Group Contribution, the ASME Committee has approved the absorption of Qu Dazhuang as ASME's high-tech decision-making body in the nuclear field at the International Nuclear Industry Conference in early July-Board on Nuclear Codes and Standards (BNCS) member. BNCS has high decision-making power to revise and decide on ASME nuclear-related specifications. There are currently 38 members, but there are only 3 seats outside North America. Qu Dazhuang is the first expert to join the organization in China, which also indicates that China's nuclear power experts have fully intervened. To the construction of ASME code.
In the concluding speech, Deputy General Manager Qu Dazhuang first thanked the member units and experts of the working group for their support over the past three years, fully affirming the achievements of the ASME China International Working Group. He also pointed out that the work of the working group in the first stage is mainly to learn and apply the ASME code. The tasks of this stage are basically completed. The next step is to actively create conditions. On the one hand, it can amend the imperfections in the ASME code. On the one hand, it can solve various specifications-related problems that have occurred during the localization of the third generation nuclear power. It must be passive to proactive, form its own style, actively develop standards, and voice its voice in the international nuclear power standards and regulations.
This meeting is the 12th working meeting held since the establishment of the BPV III CIWG. CIWG is an expert organization established by the ASME Committee in China. Since the establishment of Volume III CIWG in Shanghai in 2011, it has absorbed expert members from major domestic nuclear facility construction units. With 38 people, it has become the first choice platform for domestic nuclear power experts to discuss various issues arising in the construction of nuclear power, which has strongly promoted the localization of China's three generations of nuclear power.
